Privacy

This site is operated by Does Your Duck Quack, 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh, EH2 4AN. It has no visitor accounts or public comments. The book chooser processes your selections in your browser. The casebook saves your optional note and reading preference in this browser’s local storage; these features do not send your entries to us. Avoid entering personal or sensitive information. Your saved entries remain until you remove them or clear this site’s browser data. Hosting services process connection information to deliver and protect the site.

My reading journey saves completion ticks only in this browser, separately for each website address. There is no account or cross-device synchronisation. Use “Clear my checklist” on that page to remove its saved ticks without changing your casebook notes.

Editorial policy

Reviews and recommendations are original opinion. Objective facts are checked against author, publisher and retailer sources. Retailer availability, duration and edition details can change.

Cookies and analytics

We have not installed analytics or advertising trackers. The hosting platform sets cookies, including __Host-appgarden-visitor (observed lifetime up to 90 days) and Cloudflare’s __cf_bm cookie (observed lifetime approximately 30 minutes). Hosting cookie purposes and settings are controlled by the provider; we are confirming their full details. The casebook also uses local storage for your requested save function. You can remove those saved entries with the control on the casebook page or your browser’s site-data settings.

External services

Pages may load fonts from Google Fonts. The river map loads Leaflet from unpkg and map tiles from OpenStreetMap; these services receive ordinary connection information, including your IP address. The map does not request your location. Following a retailer or reference link takes you to another organisation’s site and privacy policy.

Artwork and copyright

Duck branding, character portraits and gallery images are labelled as original, unofficial, AI-assisted fan artwork. The site does not reproduce publisher book covers or audiobook recordings. An internal asset register records the stated provenance of the current collection.

Corrections

Factual corrections will be checked against an official author, publisher or professional source before publication. For corrections or privacy enquiries, write to Does Your Duck Quack at the postal address above, identifying the page and the information concerned. Please do not send sensitive information in a casebook note: it is stored only on your device and is not a message to us.
